Earthsonic Champions
At EarthSonic, we believe in the power of community and creativity to drive positive change. We invite you to join us as an EarthSonic Champion by either pledging to undertake any of our six acts of sustainability and/or by setting up your own local community events. These events can include concerts, workshops, or any activities related to the EarthSonic project. Share your events with us, and we'll feature them on our website to inspire others and grow our vibrant network.

Engage with other EarthSonic Champions, connect through social media, and explore future collaboration opportunities. Our platform serves as a members’ hub, fostering connections worldwide.

The 6 acts are 6 actions identified by academics as the most impactful steps we can take as individuals who want to contribute to positive climate action. You can take part by pledging to complete as many of them as you like and sharing your participation with others online.

Act 1
Move the Money

Across the world, communities and pension holders are moving their money out of fossil fuels and it's working. Every switch adds to a shift already reshaping where finance flows. Join the people already doing it, and find out where your money could go instead.

Power Together
Act 2

Communities everywhere are building their own energy; co-ops, local grids, shared renewable schemes. Switching suppliers is one part of it; finding or starting one of these near you is the bigger shift. Explore the community energy movement and where you fit into it.

Grow, Cook, Share
Act 3

Food is one of the most social things we do. From community gardens to shared harvests to local growing networks, zero food community schemes, sustainable food is being rebuilt collectively, not just chosen individually. Find a growing project, food-share, or kitchen near you. Or start one.

Move Differently, Together

Communities are reshaping how they move. Car shares, group cycling, community transport schemes, campaigns for better public transport. Travelling wisely isn't a solo discipline; it's a collective infrastructure being built. Find out what's going on near you.

Inspire Youth to Effect Change

Encouraging and empowering young people to take action in fighting the climate crisis is vital because they are the key stakeholders in shaping the future. By engaging young people, we harness their creativity, and commitment to drive meaningful action, foster sustainability, and build a more resilient world for generations to come.

Instead of restraint as an individual virtue, less is more works best as sharing what we have: libraries of things, repair cafés, swap shops, borrowing networks. Communities that share more consume less, together. Find or start a sharing scheme near you.
