The Last Scream

Working with biologists and sound recordists in the Amazon and around the world, we’ve created a unique audio collection, including the last recordings of extinct species - ‘the last scream’ - alongside other sounds, such as those of endangered and newly-discovered species. The series aims to raise awareness of connections between climate change, biodiversity loss and extinction, using the voices of diverse species and the extraordinary artists who have created new music with them.

The first album was released in early 2025 with the second set to be released in mid 2026.
