The young musicians from Muynak Children’s School of Music and Arts No. 2 take part in Stihia Gen, Stihia festival’s long-term educational initiative supporting young talent in Muynak and the wider Karakalpakstan region. Through music, art, technology and other contemporary creative practices, Stihia Gen gives children and teenagers access to new skills and forms of creative expression, while connecting local cultural traditions with contemporary artistic approaches. Over the years, participants from the school have taken part in music laboratories led by local and international mentors, exploring electronic music, folk songs, traditional instruments and improvisation, and presenting their collaborative work as part of the Stihia festival programme.

The three children featuring in the project are: Hurliman Bekbosinova, Allayar Tazabaev and Ayjan Kemalatdinova.
