About
I’m a freelance photographer, specialising in event and outdoor photography with a focus on community and emotional connection to nature. I predominantly work with artists and organisations within the arts and cultural, charity and environmental sectors documenting anything from outdoor festivals, dance performances, and volunteer tree planting days. Alongside this, I also run photo-walks based around nature connection, place and mindfulness for small community groups and young adults with additional needs, which are designed to encourage participants to connect with their senses to observe both the micro and macro aspects of nature which sometimes may be overlooked in our busy day-to-day lives.

Project Goals for the next 6-12 Months

• Growing my network within the creative and climate spaces to work with more like-minded individuals and organisations on paid photography projects or through facilitating creative workshops such as photo-walks to advocate for nature-connectedness within my local community.

• Designing and developing a complimentary session to the photo-walks where participants can learn how to develop their roll of 35mm film using alternative darkroom processes that, unlike traditional darkroom chemistry, is non-toxic and uses plant-based ingredients.

• Integrating climate policy and sustainable production processes into my creative practice through using Ad Green’s carbon calculator to track, manage and communicate Co2e for photography projects to clients, switching to green web hosting, and becoming a 1% for the Planet member.
