EarthSonic Youth Drop In Online Session - Creative Climate Leadership
Monday 10th August, 1 - 2pm
Online Event
Creative climate action is outpacing the systems meant to support it.
While funders often separate culture from climate, young people are bringing them together - building movements that combine creativity, community and climate justice. Yet only 0.96% of grants from the world's largest climate foundations went to youth-led climate justice efforts between 2022 and 2024.
Led by EarthSonic's Youth Climate Manager, Finlay Carroll, this session introduces our upcoming opportunities to access mentorship, convening and creative industries networking. It includes time for collective discussion about what young creative climate leaders need most to realise their ambitions.
Finlay Carroll is a development producer with five years experience in theatre. He recently founded Pollinate, an organisation making musicals that move people to climate action. He was named one of 100 Creative Agents of Climate Change by In Place Of War in 2024.
The session is an informal drop in 30 minutes to introduce upcoming opportunities and 30 minutes set aside for Q&A and discussion.
Join if you have worked with In Place Of War and EarthSonic before, or if you haven't and want to find out more.
