Emma de Saram

Emma de Saram is the Chair of the Youth Working Group. She is a climate justice activist with a background in the student and trade union movements, grassroots organising, and non-violent direct action. She has worked with groups including Just Stop Oil, Green New Deal Rising and Stop Cambo that bring climate and environmental justice to the forefront of public consciousness. Emma approaches climate action through an intersectional lens, focusing on the systemic and structural issues that cause lasting harm to both ecosystems and human health.
