Tom Leah

Tom Leah is the programme manager for Earthsonic's Creative Agents of Climate Change programme. He's a multi-instrumentalist, music producer & DJ hailing from Manchester and Cumbria.

Releasing music and creating live experiences for over a decade as Werkha, his journey into music began through attending community music projects in his youth. This has driven his continued outreach work in a wide variety of settings ever since.

Having facilitated programmes throughout Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Glasgow, he's more recently focused his efforts on managing programmes for Stockport based arts and mental health organisation ARC, and Manchester based Reform Radio. Working closely with teams, partners and the music industry to support participant led programmes is at the core of his work.

Tom's other great passion is creating meaningful, cultural connection to land and environment. He believes collaboration between different disciplines is vital for building hope, stewardship and developing positive social relationships towards one another.
