My Mother, The Ocean by Charlotte Church

A new single from the upcoming Flow album: 'My Mother, The Ocean’ by Charlotte Church out 22 September 2026 on Equinox Day and available to pre-save now.

“It’s an offering of love and reverence to Mother Ocean and Mother Water,” said Charlotte Church.

The release comes ahead of EarthSonic’s Flow album, a 16-track record involving artists of nine different nationalities, including Nadine Shah (UK), Sohini Alam (British-Bangladeshi), Jaloo (Brazil), Madame Gandhi (India/USA), and more.

The single will also be accompanied by three remix tracks set to be released later this year, created by drummer and music producer Fay Milton, British electronic music duo Coldcut and instrumental hip-hop and avant-garde jazz duo from Manchester, Fingathing.

Charlotte Church said of the Flow project: “I am so honoured to be part of Flow. I really love the work that In Place of War does, I love how generatively they work and how they support places of war and hardship.

“I am honoured to be a part of this with other women who honour water and nature around the world.”
