Sebastian Enequist
Sebastian Enequist’s passion for music has been a constant presence in his life, but it was during his early teenage years that his enthusiasm intensified upon discovering Heavy Metal. This passion has driven him to become both a singer and guitarist for his band, Sound of The Damned. On stage he puts on a beast of a mask and performs like a mad man, where you might not recognize him if you meet him in the streets. That is the kind of passion he has for his music. Sebastian expresses himself through music.
In 2023, Sound of the Damned released their debut album, Atonerlunnanga, featuring lyrics crafted by their talented songwriter, Pani Enequist, in both Greenlandic and English. The entire band collaborated to create the music that is now available on various platforms. They have performed in festivals, tours, off venues in someone else’s basement. Their journey has taken them to a variety of locations, including Nunavut, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland, where they’ve had the opportunity to share their passion for music with diverse audiences.
