About Flow
The project will address three distinct areas of water in relation to climate change and its impact on health: Droughts, Floods and Rising Sea Levels, demonstrated through the creation of six new pieces of music, influenced by real-life stories, sounds and science, and a brand new film documenting the project.
Through the flow of rap, drops of hip-hop, and waves of spoken word, 6 prolific female artists are producing a brand new album, which will be showcased in a high-profile performance in the Brazilian Amazon during COP30 in November 2025, presented to key media, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Album
The upcoming EarthSonic album, set for release in 2026, is produced by Grammy-winning Jennifer Decilveo and Venezuelan producer Alejandra Luciani. Artists have created music using unique water sounds from EarthSonic’s Sounds Archive — a growing collection of recordings that capture the voices of our planet’s waters.
The Archive
The archive features rare recordings of endangered aquatic species from the Fonoteca Neotropical Jacques Vielliard (FNJV) in Brazil, curated by Professor Felipe Toledo and Simone Dena, alongside public contributions gathered through a global open call.
The Film
A companion film, Flow, will premiere in London during Earth Month 2026 before touring over 25 cities worldwide. It tells stories from five regions — the UK, Brazil, Bangladesh, the Pacific Islands, and one African country — exploring humanity’s deep connection with water.
