An inspiring discussion with environmental justice researcher and educator Joycelyn Longdon as we explore her new book Natural Connection.
We’ll discuss key themes, including Indigenous wisdom, modern technology and how experiencing awe in nature can inspire collective climate action. Joycelyn will share insights from communities across the USA, UK, Brazil, India, Nigeria and Iran, highlighting how ordinary people have driven today’s rapid technological changes. We’ll explore her motivations for writing Natural Connection and the impact she hopes to create through her work. Most importantly, we’ll discuss how anyone can take action for a healthier planet and reconnect with nature. Hosting Joycelyn and leading the conversation will be renowned climate and disability justice activist, Daphne Frias.
